Doing our best to: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
As a shop, we are always looking for the best ways to reduce the waste we generate. At the moment, we're focusing on our packaging and finding recycled/compostable alternatives to polymailers and single use plastics.
Tried & Tested!
We put these mailers to the test both before and AFTER mailing. Not only are these mailers super sturdy and hold up well in the post (completing over 200 domestic journeys across the US) they've also held up their end of the bargain when it comes to the environment. We added a few mailers to our at home compost bin to test out if they ACTUALLY discompose and they do!! They were fully gone after 150 days!
Our goals for 2024
We hope to fully transition over to all eco-friendly/compostable packaging by the end of 2024. We still have some polymailers and plastic packaging left in our inventory, but once they're gone, they'll be replaced by eco-friendly alternatives!
